Fresh Out of Water in Amsterdam

Recently, I’ve just moved to the Netherlands for work. Although it may been a just a few days since I’ve landed, but here are a few insights on some stuff to hit the ground running.

Airport

Once you landed, you’ll be greeted with a wealth of choice in Amsterdam. It’s one of the most connected cities in the world.

Option 1 — Railway

If you packed light and the weather isn’t freezing, why not try taking the Railway Station? You can get a OV-chipkaart from the machine and just deposit some money, then just get on your way.

Beauty of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is actually situation quite near to the city, so the ride should be fast.

Option 2 — Uber or App Pick-Up E-Hailing

For international travelers, when you get out of the airport. The first thing you might think of is to order a Uber, Lyft, Grab or other equivalent e-hailing services that you’re more familiar in your own country.
